KidCon or Kids Convention is a great time for your elementary students to spend time with God and their friends.

Cost: $35 Through Oct. 27th // $45 Oct. 28th-Nov. 3rd  // No late or onsite registration allowed.

Meet Pastor Des at the front doors of the venue!
Pick Up / Drop Off Times:  8th 6:10p / 10:30p.    9th 8:40a / 12:30p
Merchandise will be available for purchase. Your child will have to manage their own money.
BRING: Please have your child bring a water bottle.
Do NOT Bring: toys, stuffies, gaming devices, cell phones, food/candy, any liquids besides water, pocket knives, etc.
This is going to be a fun, dynamic and engaging event for our 1st-5th graders!

On October 20th we will be partnering with Convoy of Hope for our annual One Day to Feed the World special offering. As we encourage everyone to give one day’s salary, we harness the power of equal sacrifice instead of focusing on equal giving. When you give through Convoy of Hope, poverty and hunger are replaced by hope and love.

Creating and maintaining a healthy marriage between a husband and a wife takes intentionality and work. We want to help you be successful, that is why we have invited Brad and Angie Rosenberg to come for a one-day marriage conference.

This one-day conference is at Family Life. Brad and Angie will share insigts on marriage and give you tools to help create a lasting and healthy marriage.

Family Life Youth is going to Youth Convention on October 10th - 12th held at People's Church! Youth Convention is a great time to meet friends from across the state, play a bunch of really fun games, and hear a word from great speakers. Youth conventions are always a great time because students come with great expectations from God and He is always ready and willing to show up!

Shop and Swap at Family Life!

Here is what to know:

  1. You can bring your gently used clothing to swap on Saturday, August 31st from 9am - noon, downstairs in the Fellowship Center.

  2. Clothing can be for women’s, men’s, kid’s and baby. Please drop off your items freshly washed and in boxes or bags. On hangers is a bonus.

  3. Shop on Sunday, September 1st after church. Shopping will be available between gatherings, but closed during each gathering time. It will officially be closed around 2pm on Sunday afternoon.

  4. You can shop even if you don’t have clothes to drop off. We will have plenty to share.

KidLife is hosting an overnight camp for kids who have just graduated 2nd grade (going into 3rd grade) to kids finishing 5th grade. This will be an exciting time for kids to connect with God and others.

DATE: July 29th -31st

COST
Early Bird (now-June 30th) is $85 per camper. 
Late Registration (July 1st-14th) is $95 per camper.

Youth Worship Camp

Details

Youth Worship Camp is a great opportunity to musically and spiritually equip students in middle and high school. If you sing, play drums, guitar, bass, or keyboard you are invited to join us for this time of training and equipping.

During camp, students will sharpen their musical skills, have worship related devotionals and fun activities to get to know other student leaders.

When is the camp?
The camp is Monday, June 17 through Wednesday, June 19, from 9am - 2:30pm.

Wednesday Celebration Night
We will host a celebration during YTH on Wednesday night. Families are encourage to come and listen to their students perform and lead their peers in worship.

Where is the camp?
West Salem Foursquare church (3094 Gehlar Rd NW, Salem or 97304). You do not have to be a member of Family Life or West Salem Foursquare to register for this camp.

Who can register? 

  • Individuals or entire student bands may register.

  • Students must currently take or have taken music lessons or involved in their local church music ministry. Some experience is required.

  • Worship Camp is open to students who are active or wanting to join in their church’s worship ministry.

  • Entering grade 6 in fall 2024 through high school graduates. 

What is the cost?
$40 for the week and covers lunches, guest worship leaders who will be teaching our students, and fun onsite activities throughout the day.

Do I need to send a lunch?
Lunch will be provided each day, as part of the camp.
